I am a graphic designer keen on building creative communities and brands who value social impact. Residing in Toronto, Canada, I am the co-founder of “CTO Studios” – a social enterprise production studio which, while still in early development stages, is described as a “cooperative audio/visual experience” where musicians and visual artists work together to create cohesive time-based experiences, as well as create a strong local community of independent artists. I am also a major collaborator on the Night & Day clothing brand. My previous experience includes conceptual graphic and typographic social media based motion designed content, as well as more general graphic design. This overlaps my experience in visual storytelling which runs across the board from motion graphics to Screen Printing T-shirts, stickers or designing brand identities to ensure your company can be recognized across a variety of mediums. I am Currently in my 4th year at OCAD University in Toronto, Ontario, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Design, majoring in Graphic Design and Minoring in Business and Social Innovation.
I hope to later use my design thinking skills for more strategic foresight based projects relating to music therapy and listening habit research, as well as urban agriculture and biophilic design implementation in urban landscapes. I believe that there are lessons to be learned in everyone and everything, so understanding our habits and shaping our environments to reflect growth mindsets can allow us to naturally become our best selves. We make the road by walking it, and I whole heartedly believe that building collaborative communities can help us shape paths that everyone can benefit from.
The Monthly Playlist
Hobbies grow into habits, and one of my biggest habits is finding and listening to new (or old) music. In august 2017, I decided that I would start making playlists every month with whatever I listen to - and at most, half of the playlist can't be recycled from other monthly playlists. Check them out below! who knows what you might find.
